Until we are allowed to enter Darfur, Sudan (because of political unrest), one of our many projects is called “PROJECT NOW”,
“Project NOW” (ongoing program) is a program that prepares communities for natural disasters. It involves recruiting volunteers as Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members for training which allows them to be prepared when disasters occur. More information.
We currently have trained Community Emergency Response Team members that are on stand-by in case of a natural disaster; however we are in need of many supplies and operations capital.
Our NEEDS List for CERT Include, but not limited to: WAREHOUSE & OFFICE space for storage, training, classroom and CERT exercise facilities.
